Small Business Marketing News Update - Most Effective Political TV Commercial In Jacksonville Market Isn't For Politics


There is a “political attack” ad on the air in Jacksonville but it doesn’t promote a candidate and nor does it advocate a political issue. And it is one of the most effective commercials you’ll ever see.

The commercial promotes banners, signs and brochures. The spot is for FedEx Office. The scene is set on a spoof of two opposing city council candidates waiting be served at a FedEx Office retail center. While they appear to be civil to each other, they are actually attacking one another.

FedEx does a great job in using a very creative, humorous and timely commercial to effectively convey the various services its retail centers offer to customers, including candidates. Unlike the real political attack ads we have endured for over a year, this one makes dirty tricks funny.

This political season, I vote FedEx Office as the best political, and best overall, television commercial of the year.

    If only everything could be won over through comedy rather than fear! The political turmoil is set to continue though it is plain to see things are spiralling since the election. It is sad to think democracy is called into question when the results when the results are so close. If only there was a way to make light of it and get people to see what's done is done and acceptance is a better way forward than rebelling.

FedEx does a great job in using a very creative, entertaining and appropriate commercial to effectively express the various services its retail outlet facilities offer to customers, such as applicants. It's channels some shows are famous in locally.     As long as they didn't drop any political names, there will be no problem. In fact, it is true that no matter what the niche is, commercials with a lot of humor are the ones who create a strong recall.

      I agree with that Lonnie. I've actually seen the commercial and I didn't see even a little amount of negativity regarding it's political theme. And It does create good recall because it's funny. And if you remember the funny part, you also remember the product or service mentioned.
